The event is part of the Helsinki Opera Summer Festival.
We find it acceptable to party to Vivaldi. Come and experience classical music in a way you've never experienced before, as young professional musicians bring their fresh symphonic fusion orchestra to the stage, renewing the traditions in the world of music.
It all began when a group of friends consisting of young musicians from the Sibelius Academy got frustrated with the stiff etiquette in the classical music world. Realizing the lack of interest and the loss of livelihood urged them to take action: to break out from the traditions and reach for new audiences. They refused to be slowed down, and instead created an alternative.
Partytuuri Orchestra delivers symphonic hits adjusted to serve the club scene. In addition to respecting the origin of the art, the orchestra brings the evergreen pieces out of the velvety concert halls - for them to be accessible, and for everyone to enjoy! Fans of all music genres are warmly invited to celebrate this experimental project where they can witness Puccini, Vivaldi and Brahms (among other legends) hitting the dance floor.
